The Foundation Degree in Integrated Health, Social Care and Wellbeing builds on the knowledge developed in the Certificate stage and provides a broader and deeper understanding of integrated care practices. The programme combines academic learning with work-related experience, enabling students to apply theory to real health and social care settings. Through work-based learning and industry engagement, the programme focuses strongly on employability and prepares students for supervisory or management roles or progression to an honours degree.

Admissions

Entry requirements

Applicants should normally have:

  • Passport
  • Immigration Status (Settled/Pre-Settled)
  • E-VISA Screenshot (Not required for British/Irish and Settled Status applicants)
  • Personal Statement (min. 300 words)
  • Level 3 qualification with 120 credits (or equivalent) or 2+ years of customer-focused work experience with proof of employment
  • Proof of Address

Aged 21 or over?

Applicants aged 21 or over who do not meet the standard academic requirements may still be considered if they have at least two years of relevant work experience. This experience should demonstrate transferable skills such as:

  • Working effectively as part of a team
